Questions to the speaker may be submitted via Facebook or phoned in to 715-942-9917 during the program. metalcasters have long been recognized as some of the world's first recyclers.

Esch will discuss how for centuries, foundries have been making new metal objects by remelting old ones that have become unwanted scrap.

While this is a good foundation for a claim that a well-run foundry is an environmentally sustainable business. Esch will present other opportunities that exist to define a foundry's environmental performance, and in particular the Waupaca Foundry's role in these sustainability initiatives.

Bryant Esch is director of environmental engineering, environmental health and safety, and coordination of environmental compliance and sustainability activites.

Esch's program is sponsored by Joan Wasserberg.
