Helipad Unveiling at Waupaca Foundry

On September 15, 2015 Waupaca Foundry unveiled a new helipad for use by emergency services. A ceremonial helicopter landing marked the occasion at 10 a.m. Waupaca Foundry owns the helipad and assumed all construction costs, but it will be used by Perry County emergency services to rapidly transport critically ill and injured residents in Perry County to nearby hospitals.
