Thanks to investment in an ExOne S-MAX Pro 3D sand printer, Waupaca Foundry is now able to turn around a prototype in days instead of weeks. It’s a long list of potential use cases, many of which were probably never anticipated when she fired off the purchase order for that machine. And so it is with desktop printers’ more productive and accurate counterparts: production 3D printers. Here, end-use parts in polymer and metal alike are possible.
