Waupaca Foundry Honored for Supporting Veterans in the Workforce

Earns Silver-Level Recognition in Wisconsin’s 2025 Vets Ready Employer Initiative

(Waupaca, Wisconsin) December 9, 2025  – Waupaca Foundry, Inc. has been recognized by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) as a recipient of the 2025 Vets Ready Employer Initiative, an honor that acknowledges employers who go above and beyond to recruit, retain, and support veterans in the workplace.

This joint initiative between the DWD and the Office of Veteran Employment Services highlights companies that offer veteran-focused programs, resources, and opportunities. Waupaca Foundry earned Silver-level Vets Ready Employer status in the large employer category and will be formally recognized at an awards ceremony on December 10, 2025, at Moraine Park Technical College in West Bend, Wisconsin.
